My first time...

Hello everybody and welcome! This is my (excuse me, our) first time blogging.  It has become so popular that I felt I needed to start in order to 'be cool'.  I can't say I am surprised, I tend to be slow at picking up trends but I eventually jump on the bandwagon!

I (again, I'm sorry, We) thought this would be a great way to keep our friends and family updated with the fascinating life that we live! Ok, that is a joke, we really don't live a glamorous life...we just seem to have a lot going on with our friends, family, and children (also know as Max the Shih Tzu and Marty the Lhasa Apso), that we thought this would be a great way to document it.   

Let me first start by introducing myself, I am Kelli (and will usually be the one writing unless Brett gets the itch to chime in every so often).  I married Brett almost 10 months ago (wow, has that gone by fast!).  We have two dogs, as I already explained, and they tend to go everywhere with us unless we travel by plane!

We have a great group of family and friends that keep us busy, but it is very worth it! Never a dull moment around the Lauritsen household (writing that as my last name is still weird!).  I really have no objective with this blog except to keep people up to date with 'The Lauritsen Life' since we can't be near everyone we would like!

A few tidbits of information before you start reading this blog regularly (and I guess that is saying a lot, assuming that you will)...
-We spend a lot of time with family and friends, so you will probably get to see and hear about them quite a bit.
-Almost everything I say or do can be related to a quote from the TV show 'FRIENDS'.  I will try to keep that as infrequent as possible, but I know my love for that show will shine through often (already has for those of you that noticed). 
-We don't have kids right now so we LOVE our dogs, and yes that includes Max for those of you asking that in your head (Jared and Danny)!
