The weekend of Comebacks!

Well Brett and I had quite the weekend full of family and football!

My mom's side of the family got together in Manhattan, KS to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday.  It was a great time except we were missing Danny.  Don't worry Dan, we will photo shop you into a few pictures.

The weekend was filled with football as we attended the K-State vs. Missouri game.  What a great win for K-state. While they were able to pull it out we were all a little worried as Missouri start to come back, but K-state didn't disappoint.  I told Brett that I had such a good time that I might just send my first born to be a Wildcat! :)  (He didn't take it as well as you may think).

After the K-state game we all got together to watch the Nebraska vs. Ohio State game.  While I think Brett and I (and maybe my dad) were the only ones cheering on the Huskers, it was one exciting game. One that we almost gave up on.  Quite a different experience watching a Husker game with Iowa, Iowa State and K-state fans.  However the Huskers ended up making the largest comeback in school history to win!

Sunday we spent the day working around the house an of course cheering on the Chiefs who also made  the largest comeback in team history to win against the Colts.  What a weekend for our teams!

One thing that hasn't made a comeback is our bathroom remodel.  Still working on it - update pictures to come soon! Looking forward to a few weekends at home to finish up some of our projects around the house!

At the President of K-State's house. Very pretty house on campus.

Jackie and Chris cheering on their team...Iowa! Can't wait for the day after T-giving.

Mom and Robbie!

The sisters!

Alexa - future K-state grad!

We got Alexa her first Husker Hoodie..Mark was not too excited about that.

The family, minus Dan! But we will get you in the picture!
Happy 80th Grandma Dee!
